Aseptiq

Designs the leanest aseptic protocol for your target sterility level — while pricing in the correlated barrier failures that naive models miss.

Parameters

Exchange rate μ
How much friction you'll spend per unit of protection. Low μ = stack everything for safety. High μ = keep it lean and convenient.
Common-cause coupling β
Share of failures that hit a whole group at once (sloppy operator, power loss, bad reagent lot). β=0 is the old, over-optimistic independence assumption.
Target sterility (SAL)
Required log-protection. 6 means a one-in-a-million residual chance — the medical-device standard. Reduction past this is penalized as over-treatment.

For real clinical, laboratory, or manufacturing use, follow the applicable pharmacopeia / ISO standards and validate empirically.
